Version 0.5 of AccessControl Extension for MediaWiki
another Version is out.
the extension can be downloaded under http://www.pagansoft.de/download/accesscontrol-0.5.zip
Changes:
- Articles with the accesscontrol tag are now touched in advance to displaying it, so the page will not read from the cache
- removed some development junk
- better documentation of the accesscontrolSettings.php
- added some debugging code

Installed version 0.5. Still same problem as 0.4 sorry - actually I can't even get it to block the JoeBloggs user the first time now, just lets it go straight to viewing protected page.

Maybe the page is still in the cache yet. Try to open the page and put an ?action=purge after the url (i.e. if the URL of the page is http://mywiki.com/Protected, use http://mywiki.com/Protected?action=purge) and purge the page manually from the cache.
Sorry for this, it worked for a while, then it won't work anymore. I have to try something other. Meanwhile the only possible workaround is, to force all Users to log in (See tips.txt in the archive).
